Her passion for serving as a bridge between potential and promise was initially fostered as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of NYC and has continued in a range of development roles. Elandria has transformed revenue generation culture at organizations ranging from a $3 million growing education nonprofit to a $200 million charter management organization. She is particularly passionate about supporting leaders working in education, economic mobility and mental health & well-being (among others), empowering them to thrive philanthropically without sacrificing their personal well-being.

Executive Coaching

Collaborators know Elandria as someone who leads with authenticity, faith, and joy.

She’s strategic and intuitive. People - personally and professionally - open up to her easily as a trusted leader. Her DiSC style is Influence and this strength has been iterated across her career – from managing the Got Milk? campaign to developing strategic partnerships that increase access and opportunity for those traditionally left behind. Elandria shows up grounded in love and cultivating joy to solve seemingly intractable problems, together.

Elandria earned her undergraduate degree from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an M.P.A from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service.  She lives in Atlanta with her husband and two young children.

What brings her joy?  New experiences with family and friends, Tabata workouts, being alone in nature, and seeing others realize their full potential.

Ayoka Partners in Philanthropy exists to provide space and resources for leaders, specifically Black women, to live out their innate potential to be great fundraisers.

Elandria's experience as a Black woman in philanthropy informs her desire to support other Black women leaders to raise money without sacrificing their personal well-being.

Why Ayoka?

Ayoka is Elandria's original middle name and means “one who brings joy to all” in Swahili. Ayoka Partners in Philanthropy exists to activate joy in leaders to generate resources authentically and sustainably.

It can be difficult to show up as your full, authentic self in a system that was not designed for us. Ayoka Partners in Philanthropy amplifies the magic of Black women to fuel missions by sparking their joy.

This joy is not based on circumstances, but is derived from a deep belief in our innate value.
